| I should have read the forum's previous articles on Baskin Truck Sales before I purchased a truck online. Without getting too detailed, the truck I ended up with is not the truck that was represented. They are scammers. I'm not the first, and I wont be the last, but I figured we needed a little reminder to stay away from them. Save yourself the agony, money, and time. My truck made it 45 miles from their dealership before having to be towed. The tow company I called informed me that he gets tons of towing business from people that buy trucks from Don or Skip (the owners). He informed me of all of the shady things that dealership does...but it was too late for me. Buyer beware....stay away. |

Crawfordsville, Arkansas | Yep sounds about right. There's gems on their lot but it takes a lot of digging to find them. Sorry you got a lemon. |

| Your state does not have a 3 day (or more) return policy? |

Mid-Missouri | Neighbor experienced the exact same thing. |

West Tennessee | Sorry for your troubles. They just do not have a good reputation. That's as nice as I can be. Something must be going right for them though because they are continuously buying property and adding more trucks and equipment to an already HUGE inventory. It's just simply amazing to me with the reputation they have. Their business model may not be what most would consider ideal but sure seems to work well for them. This just by looking from the outside in. |

Central ND | I have heard all the stories but we bought a trailer from them several years ago. I bought it sight unseen other than a few pics and it was exactly as described, we used it several years and sold it for more than I paid. It was their personal trailer for their own use if that made a difference, idk? That being said after reading all the horror stories I would probably look elsewhere next time around...... |

| I have bought several trucks there with good results, but they will tell you a red truck is blue if they think it will make a sale. The reason I shop there is the same as you, They are cheap. They buy trucks at auction and don't know any more about them than you do. I'm sure I will eventually get burned, but I do know the meaning of " as is", |
