Subject: 2006 John Deere 5325 Engine shuts off!

Recently purchased JD 5325 4WD with roughly 1400 hrs. Only issue I have is that tractor will shut off roughly after 10 minutes of running. Dash alarm shows oil light but clears out after cranking back up. After cranking back up never have the issue again till tractor is cranked the next day or later in the week. Some times tractor seems flooded after it shuts down and has a delay in cranking ( not every time). I changed oil, filters and filled with recommended amount of oil. Any advice will appreciated before I send to service department. Thanks.

wc in
i have a 5225. does the same thing on occasion. jd mechanic came out earlier this summer. he took out the screen at bottom of fuel tank. the feed line to fuel pump. looked ok but dont know if it was clogged up or not with the gush of diesel fuel that came with the screen. anyway, has worked good until yesterday and day before and shut off again. so, i dont know what is going on. i dont think it is clogged filter because it shuts off real quick not like running out of fuel. sure hope you find something to fix it.
btw, it always starts right back up
