I have a problem with all the lincoln guns, but now its my air powered gun. Grease goes behind the cup into the area with the spring, is always a mess when changing tubes, it got so bad it wouldnt stay primed. My Lincoln manual guns do the same thing. Is there a fix for that besides getting a new milwaukee cordless...I have a dewalt cordless, I prefer the air gun.

Are you using plastic grease tubes? I had fits with mine till I switched back to the old cardboard (or whatever they are) tubes. No problems since then.

I had the same problem with a lincoln from the time it was new. I swapped the rubber piece of the plunger out of an old hand gun and it worked good then.

I bought a new seal assembly for our power luber. Look around online, should be able to find the part for it.

We've ran the Lincoln 20V grease guns for the past 5 years never have had any problems other than blowing a hose every now and then.
Just got the new 20V, has a higher pressure hose and a little bit smaller body. We do a lot of greasing and I would never buy anything than a Lincoln in grease guns!

To my knowledge, all of the Lincoln grease guns use the same cartridge tube as shown in the picture below.

The part that you need is 93485. If you feel the resiliency of your follower rubber, you will probably find that it is hard and therefore not sealing against the inside of the grease cartridge. It is also possible, as one other poster suggested, that you are using plastic cartridges?

I work at a NAPA store, and have seen new grease guns (air, electric, and manual) that leak by the follower, and without exception they all had hard rubber followers that would allow grease to leak by them. What a mess!!!

We have 2 18 volt cordless that did the same thing. Put entire tube assembly off of Allemite AS500 hand guns on. Problem solved.
