Eastern NC | I would like to get some feedback on a couple of grain cart options to replace my EZ Trail 710. I have run the EZ Trail for several years and it has served me well but I would like to buy a cart that can carry a full semi load and has a faster unload rate than the EZ Trail. I have found a couple of different choices at local dealers. The first choice is a Killbros 1195. The second choice is a Brent 1082. These two carts are very similar but the Brent has a faster unload rate and looks to be built a little stronger. It also cost 20% more than the Killbros. I think that either of these two carts is quite an upgrade from the EZ Trail 710 but I would like to get your opinions, good or bad, about these choices. |

ne nebraska | I have a Brent 880. I have zero complaints on that one after one season. |

Ontario | Have a brent 1082. Unloads so fast you need to be cautious with corn under 18% moisture. Have 0 bad things to say regarding Brent carts. |

Mid-Michigan | We have two Killbros. wagons and have served us well but you better keep welding rod on hand. They get the job done but a little on the light side. We have two Brent 750's and are built way better than the Killbros but a lot more money. No comparison in the quality even though they are made by the same company. We have a Brent 882 cart. We based our buy on the quality of the wagons and have no complaints. Tough call but you get what you pay for (sometimes!). |

ne neb | We have had 4 killbros carts over the years and they have been great. Last one was an 1185 that I bought new. Had about 2.5 million bushels through it when we traded it last spring and was still in perfect condition. We now have a 1311 and that is about as good as it gets in my opinion. |

Big Springs, Nebraska | Have had a 1082 for 5 years and has been trouble free. Only potential downfall with it is the 900/60/32 tires which I feel are too small for 1,000 bu. If you can, try to get one with bigger tires than this. Mine are Trelleborg radial tires and they have put out an advisory letter to Brent owners to put 55 lbs in them and that has helped with the sidewall squat but it just seems like not enough tire.
I would echo AGB's thoughts on the difference in build quality between this and a Killbros. |

NESD | KillBros, Parker, Unverferth, Brent, all made in same factory with KB the bottom of the scale and Brent being the top, Take it for what it's worth. |

1050/50r32 on our 1082 set to operators manual suggested pressure. Sidewalls flex but nothing too bad. Wouldn't recommend more than 850 bu for 900's. |

Monroe City, MO | Don't know about the Killbros but the Brent will have a ton of reach. Probably have 4 or 5 feet between the auger and trailer side when unloading. |

Se sd | I have a Killbros cart, we replaced the gears on the gear box to speed up the unload! Very noticeable difference, glad I did it so far!

Take a close look at them and you will see why brent it on top. I really like our 1082. Will easily hold over 1,100 bu especially if the corn is heavy. So a "cart load" can over load a semi. |
