40th parallel | What options are available to feed an agleader signal both waas and correction.
I know I can do it with agleader globes, but is there a way to use say a 262 or 372?
Also if I wanted to do cellular RTK what all is involved using something like digifarm or the new case network or CORS
FYI. Newer blue and red tractor are the application. |

Clear Lake, IA | You need a serial cable to run from your NAV2 to the satellite input on your AgLeader harness. I run a Trimble DCM modem to run RTK on my FMX1000, again just another cable to get correction. A call to AgExpress and you will be up and running in a few days. |

NW IL | The first question I have is: what do you want to accomplish with the Ag Leader display? Are you simply trying to do product control with the Ag Leader display? Do you also want to autosteer with the Ag Leader display?
(1) If all you want to do is product control or monitoring (planter, sprayer, combine) an Ag Leader display will accept GPS from most any 3rd party GPS (Trimble, Raven, Deere, Outback, etc). All that is required is appropriate cabling with a serial end on in (DB9). Last spring we fed John Deere 3000 GPS signal into Ag Leader Integra for planter starter control.
(2) If you want to do hydraulic steering with the Ag Leader display (assuming Integra or InCommand) you will need an Ag Leader 6500/SteerCommand, GeoSteer, or ParaDyme.
(3) If you want to do mechanical steering with an Ontrac2, Ontrac2+, or Ontrac3 , Ag Leader allows you to use any 3rd party GPS as long as update rate is 5Hz or greater. On our own farm we have used Trimble 262 connected to Integra and Ontrac2 and had good success. One spring we even used a an Outback S2 lightbar and fed GPS to Integra and Ontrac2 with good success as well.
For cellular RTK to work you first need your receiver fully unlocked to RTK. You also need a cellular device capable of NTRIP to connect to the network you are working with. The cellular device allows you to connect your RTK receiver the the cellular RTK network that is available to you. You do NOT need an RTK radio for cellular RTK. Common cell modems used for RTK services include Intuicom, Raven Slingshot, Digi Transport, Trimble DCM, and DigiFarm Gateway. A cell modem will have it own data plan on it. Alternatively you could use an Android or iOS device with data and an NTRIP app. To use either Android or iOS as your cellular device you will also need a bluetooth device to connect to your RTK receiver.

For Apple ( iOS ) if you choose to use DigiFarm you will need their bluetooth device ( Beacon v3.0 ), a subscription to DigiFarm, as well as the app from the Apple store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/digifarm-ntrip-client/id1028794183?l...
Side note: if you have the choice of working with either a 262 or 372 for RTK, I would suggest you spend the money on unlocking the 372 to RTK. The 372 has two significant advantages over the 262 when it comes to RTK. First the 372 allows you to utilize GLONASS satellites in addition to WAAS. Second in the event that you lose RTK fix, the 372 has an option called "XFILL" that will allow you to operate with "RTK like accuracy" for up to 20 minutes while the receiver attempts to reconnect to the RTK network.

Wanting to hydraulic steer so it looks like I can't mix and match stuff. Would have liked to use a 262 or 372 and NavII to steer things using an integra.
Or at least a 262 or 372 for signal and pipe it in to a steer command and integra. |

Can't give steer command a signal from a trimble won't work you can do that with a on trac 3 i believe though. I use to do it with a on trac 2+ and a 252 with rtk. On the nav2 would be your source of gps signal not 100% sure if it's tilt corrected data though usually it's not a big deal unless you have some good side hills. |
