Montana | Calf gun rack on wheels A real time and back saver for us I saw one called Calf Kart at a trade show in the early 80s and we came home and built this one . Lots of friends have built thier own and use them in different ways. We usually pull ours with four wheeler or our 66 ford bronco Edited by daddycal 1/20/2016 20:07 (image.jpeg) Attachments ---------------- image.jpeg (114KB - 219 downloads)

Montana | I like the four wheeler carrier but my best application for ours is a mean cow following to the corral and the cart is about thirty feet behind the four wheeler. Ours looks like the calf is running and it is amazing how a goofy cow will most often follow. I tip it up on the back to load calves if my back is feeling weak. I often tip it up to unload the calf and have a bit of a barrier between me and the cow. I have pulled it up over a fence and dumped the calf with a cow snorting at me. I suggest the now never flat tires these are off a Bale stooker from back in the 1970s :)

Montana | 66 Bronco pickup is much desired :) My wife had it for her high school truck in the mid 70s it was her gift from her Grandma when her Grandpa died in 1969. It has three on the tree and will go backward almost as fast as it will go forward. :) Her Grandpa Used it to gather the horses. Yeee hawww. It is very fun for Prong Horn Antelope hunting. :)

Culbertson, MT | except on skids. Dad didn't want to fool with tires! I was thinking of refitting it to attach to the receiver hitch on the Ranger...

Montana | I really like the tires for long runs. I have had cows follow it three miles home. following a dead calf that appears to be alive and moving. The front skid gets hot. If a cow follows a mile or more, i skin graft a calf on her.

The Green Hills of Missouri | Here's the one I use. Fits the receiver hitch on the back and scale for processing calves. Keeps processing supplies close. Only thing not liked is the more active calves will beat there head against the bed of the mule, with those calves that's where I stand so that stops happening. Some days its a struggle to get those 100-130# calves put in it, but works nice once there there. Has two pipes down the middle to spread the calves rear legs for banding. Montana | Big Swede - 1/21/2016 12:29 130# calves?! Yikes! I used to have 130 pound calves and we used it a lot then but now we like 70 to 80 pound birth weight and explosive growth. Oh yes I posted a Bronco picture here and on The Machinery Link

sc ks | Big Swede - 1/21/2016 13:29 130# calves?! Yikes! Thats what I thought I would be getting a new bull QUICK. You probably would have to use the calf carrier if calves weren't so big. You would be amazed how much more sluggish the big calves are.
