East Central SD | Any thoughts on the quality of Sunex tools? Was looking at a metric impact set on Amazon.

S.E. Iowa | I am pretty sure they are Chinese.

SE Wyoming | I bought a set of sunex Impact sockets when I first started wrenching. They wore out several impact wrenches. I don't think I ever broke one. They've since been replaced by a name brand, but I wouldn't hesitate to say they are (were) good for me.

east central ND | I bought a couple sets of Sunex impact sockets from a local auto parts store 20 some years ago, were very good. Have not seen that brand around here for many years.

NW MN | I've bought metric and SAE impact sets off Amazon and have been happy with them.

A real CR-MO impact socket shouldn't ever break, but they will wear out. Sunex is generally pretty decent though IMO.

Elizabethtown,KY | I had a Sunex 1/2" drive air impact several years ago that was pretty much junk, I threw it away and got an IR, been happy ever since!

Here and There | That doesn't suprise me...I spend the money on the name brand driver. The Sunex sockets and adapters have held up ok for me though.

Lincoln County. NC | Generally good. Sockets, wrenches, etc. probably more so then air tools, etc.

NC Indiana | I own a couple sets of impact sockets and a few big wrenches from Sunex, never had a problem with them in almost 20 yrs.

Bought a set at a swap meet, seem pretty good so far. Amazon had the same set, brand new, cheaper than what I gave mine for though...

Garrett County, MD | One of the better brands of discount tools. Lifetime warranty I think. The wrenches don't feel cheap like some of the other brands. I have some of there crowsfoot wrenches and they seem to do the job fine.

SW OH | I have crow foot sockets and 8 point sockets. Made in China, but very good. You have to wonder what doll the Chinese use for tools? Surely they don't use the cheap junk that harbor freight sells. My Sunex tools are just as good as Mac and Snap On. Mitchco
