Lots of little electrical and linkage problems on the open station models. Friend has his bought back by new holland after it spent 3/4 of the first year back at the shop. Constant lights and beepers going when it was on the farm. Often wouldn't go into or out of park.

Does nh have more problems then other makes when it come to electrical issue?

Certain models have little quirks. Lot easier to solve now with internet. His TN90 had trouble with some connector down by the tire a few years back. Another friends NH7740 had issues with the harness and they had trouble with fuel pumps on their NH8160.

My own MF 5455 had a full harness replacement its first year under warrantee. I've had to repair the harness on my kubota due to corrosion in the connectors by the battery.

Neighbours CIH Jx75 had lots of bad switch issues straight from the dealer.

Minor electrical problems is one thing, but major engine/transmission problems I don't want anymore. We've had a NH TS90 thats had a clutch, pto shaft, head gasket and then this summer it had ring and main bearing problems. Now the hydraulics have gotten weak. The tractor just turned over 4000hrs.

Have a T4.105 with loader close to 350hrs, been good so far. Was at dealer for a few minor things, air seat leak down, hydraulics stuttering (repaired by tightening clamps to pump and been good since). I have been happy with it and it has done everything I have asked.

Some are made in Turkey and some are made in Italy, I have an Italian one; not sure of it makes much difference. Mine has hand parking brake and I was told the Turkish ones have the park brake in transmission.

England
to have engine problems with a nh ts or 40 series is virtually unheard of

I bought a new T4.95 a year ago to replace a 10 year old TN75. I have not had any problems in the first 200 hours. We used it brush mowing, raking hay and moving bales. Mine has a park gear in the range gearbox which I like a lot better than a park lever. My kids can't drive off with it on. They are using it to feed hay everyday.

We are very pleased with ours.

These don't seem to be all that heavy for much row crop work, raking hay is about it, the way it looks. We've pulled a 12ft disk, 7 shank nh3 applicator and you name it we've done it with our TS90. I have a feeling these tractors are going to be money pits later on.

I really doubt many are sold for heavy tillage. I bought it because I wanted a small frame 4x4 loader cab tractor to feed with. It's great for that.

TS 90 has nothing in common with a T4.
