WC/Indiana | I'm building a service truck but need to be able to pull a Gooseneck trailer. I'm looking to buy a new bed and want to know your opinions on which bed to go with. All 3 look good but just wanted some feedback on those of you that may have one of these. Do you feel you have enough inside storage with these beds for tools and other things?? Is one not as heavy duty? Here are the 3 I like. Thanks!!! North Central Texas | Armor bed. Looks way better than those and have more hidden storage

East central Indiana | I liked the top and bottom style when looking at building my current truck.but didn't need the ability to pull a gooseneck and needed more tool storage. I like those beds and if we ever needed a 3rd big truck would probably go with one of those.

Texas | I am assuming it is a dually? I have a 16 GMC crew cab dually and put a flatbed on it. It has the four built in boxes but is not a full blown service body. With the bed, 5hp air compressor, a couple hundred pounds of tools and a 90 gallon transfer tank full of diesel it weighed 10,820 lbs. This only leaves me 2,220 lb of pin weight for a gooseneck without going over the GVWR. Not sure if you are concerned about being legal but these heavy beds don't leave a whole lot of rooms for a gooseneck if you want to stay within specs.

Central Iowa | This is what i put on my truck and love it. Has room to carry everything we need and keep it all very organized. Low enough sides to pull trailer but high enough to still have room for boxes. The top lid is an absolute must for keeping small items and tools organized. Can get some pics of mine how we set ours up if you like.

WC/Indiana | Yes it's a dually, I didn't think about the weight being that heavy, good point!!! Ya if you have pictures that would be great also. I don't know what to do for sure. It will have a fuel tank, compressor, and generator/welder. Thanks

Quincy, IL | I was setting up our knaphiede bed today. I wanted a full torch bottles so I could switch them out with the sets at our shop. So I cut a hole in the floor for the bottles and welded in 3/8th wall tubing. The oxygen is in the floor 20 inches and the gas bottle is in the floor 10 inches. Knaphiede doesn't have a spot for a spare tire so we also sunk the tire in the floor so that it doesn't block the back window. Next is a fuel tank. It will be the same height as the spare tire. The bed seems to be fine but is chipping paint in alot of areas. Also disappointed that it doesn't have a tailgate. I plan to make my own and then have the it and the bed linexed. It is a quality built bed but definitely room for some improvements. Definitely plenty of room for what I'm doing. West Central Missouri | That looks amazing. Who makes that bed? That, but for a dually, is exactly what I'm looking for.
