Subject: blocking fifth wheel up for end dump


Eastern Kansas

anyone have any pictures of what they use to block their fifth wheel up for a end dump? Need to set a truck up to pull a 1/4 frame end dump. truck is mostly used to haul grain. Thanks.

Yea i can get you some pictures tomorrow i've got one unhooked right now. We had the local welding shop do this one due to time issues but it don't take super long to do it. The way he does it is pretty simple so you can unpin it if you need to pull another type of trailer.

Here's some pictures for you I can get you more if you need. You can put a cotter key or bolt in the one end to keep the pin from coming out and use Schedule 80 pipe

We had 2 of our trucks pinned using the same welding shop as these pictures. They have held up good and are very easy to switch back to a trailer that doesn't require it. Simply pull the bar out and your ready to go. Edited : I found a picture of the pin we use on ours.
