The Green Hills of Missouri
Can someone explain to me how they use to get the corn into this grinder? Did they shovel into it? Ear corn? I bought it at the local consignment sale and want to grind shelled corn with it but don't have a way to get shelled corn in it or a wagon short enough to get under the unload auger.

Ours had an ear corn elevator dumping into the hopper. As far as the wagon, time to head to another consignment sale?

We have a Letz junior burr mill that Grandpa bought in 1929, It has six inch burrs and everything went in with a bucket and came out in a bucket and then dumped in a wagon or down the feed chute in the barn. It is a stationary that runs off a belt from an electric motor.
