Subject: New Holland l218 starting problems

My nh l218 skid steer keeps blowing the 25amp crank fuze every time I go to start it. When I turn the key on the glow plugs start clicking but when I turn it on to start, blown fuse. Any ideas what would be causing the problem? Any help appreciated.

I have a L218, but have not had that problem. Could be a bad glow plug. Disconnect the wire that runs to the glow plugs and see if the fuse blows. You should be able to test each glow plug with a multimeter if there is a bad one (have to disconnect each one to test).
