Subject: Micro-Trak parts

East central Iowa, Camanche, Iowa
OK, so I stopped looking for a MT-3000 controller for my "new" sprayer and bought a new FlowmateII controller. I assumed that it was a plug and play situation.........not!!!!

All the plugs in the FlowmateII harness are the smaller plugs. I have the 3 pin wps (?) on mine. Same goes for the flow meter and speed sensor. I can order from Dultimeier the flow meter and speed sensor cable part #13096 but I can't seem to find the 3 pin wps to 1/4"QD adapter part #14469. I need 3 of these.

I am getting really pissed at how much this sprayer that I assumed would be a non-event has become a nightmare. And I have not even tried the pump yet.........

Any help in finding these parts would be appreciated. Thanks

That is where I got the part numbers. I can't seem to find anyplace that sells the 3 pin adapter. At least from their web sites. Yes, Micro-Trak has been very helpful.

I'm no expert in all these different connectors, but if you have a local NAPA store, take the ends you have to match up to what you need and hopefully they match them up and you just make your own. You could try Sensor1.com website, they seem to have a bunch of different connectors and adapters.

I know that the speed sensor connector is a 3 pin metripak connector. It's a metric weather pack. Maybe if you post a pic of what your trying to match, maybe we can be a bit more help?

Pete, I have a MT3000. Haven't used it for twenty years but your welcome to it. I will see if it will power up in the morning if your interested. All I want is freight for it. My email is in profile.

We had a MT3000 for a long time and now have a Spraymate2 that we still use.

The actual mechanical parts of the flowmeter are interchangeable. At most, you would need a new flow cable that has the green sensor and the correct plug. They aren't very expensive and do occasionally fail (I think I have replaced two of them in the 15 years or so of using MicroTrak controls). You may be able to cut off the the weatherpak plug and swap it with the correct style.

Looks like FlowMate is not a rate controller like the 3000. So it might not matter, but I think the control valve from the MT3000 operated at a different voltage the the newer style. I think that with the Spraymate we could select if we had an old or new style valve.

Thanks but from what I have seen those MT-3000 controller a prone to failure because of the age of the electronics. I went through two in my shop and three other guys called and only one could get his to power up.

I bought the SpraymateII controller not Flowmate. My bad....
I would not be so upset if I had not spent so much time trying to find a MT-3000, sending mine in, buying one sight unseen (my bad) and getting stuck paying for a worthless controller (I took a risk and lost).
Got to remember that the first year with ANYTHING there is a learning curve and frustration.

Hello pehinric...

First, are you sure you bought the Flowmate? That is not a rate controller... I'm guessing you bought a SprayMate or RateKing?

If so... I can definitely help you out. I work at Micro-Trak and have those parts readily in stock. Give me a call at 507-257-3600 and I will talk you through some quick options to get you up and running asap.

I can help you get the controller setup and calibrated as well.

Call Micro-Trak at 507-257-3600 and ask for me, Jake.

Thanks.
