SC WI | One coming up on neighbors auction. Are these good balers? What should I look for? What should I expect to spend for it. This would be my first round baler I have no experience with roundbalers (prev had all custom made). Thanks for the help!!! |

wc MN | They are good balers but as you know Gehl has been out for a number of years. If it has an electronic monitor in the cab you best check to see if you can get parts for it. I have the silage special model and it has been bullet proof since owning it from new!! |

Montana | We have a 2880 that's a good baler. Net wrap would be nicer, but the Gehl works fine for the money. They work just like any other round baler once you get going. |

Montana | Check belts and bearings as best you can. The paint should be noticeable if a bearing ever got warm. I can't see one selling for over $6,000. |
