![](/profile/get-photo.asp?memberid=22135&type=profile&rnd=50) 20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana | I have a field of stalks that was chiseled accept for the end rows and field edges last fall. I wanted to get the co-op to spray it for me ASAP with RUp/Sonic. Then plant beans. But I need to work it still around the edges as well as the rest of the field.
My question is can I have them spray sonic now and then work the ground in a day or two when its more fit to work, then plant it to beans? Or can sonic not be worked in? I'm unsure of this. My dad said I better ask someone...
Marestale is the biggest weed issue I'm battling with the preemergents.
Its a very small 13 acre field that I want to get planted ASAP to get it off sooner this fall to do some more drainage/tree removal is the reason I'm wanting to hit this field early. |

SWOH | If I remember right...you can incorporate Sonic, you cannot incorporate Valor. It should say on the label. If you do, I wouldn't put it very deep. But that's just my thought...I don't have anything to back it up. |

| I'm not sure but I think if its very very shallow it should work. Just curious, why the round up if your gonna till the ground? |

Central, IL | We've worked it in and sprayed premerge. Both ways
worked fine here.

Just in case the rains keep coming and I Dont get to it as soon as I'd like. Probably a waste of $... |

I have been applying valor with a field cult for 6 years. It works just fine. Sonic will also work with incorporating. Labels say no but even the heftys.say say yes. |

Indiana | Yes. You should be fine |

SE MN | Yup, I wouldn't spray it on rough chisel plowing and then work it though. I would level the field first. |

Southern Minnesota | You can incorporate all herbicides....just don't do it too deep. We have never had a problem. |

| We've worked it in before as well with a soil finisher. We only go about 3 or 4 inches deep max. Seems to hold up. |
