Godfrey,IL/ Greenfield,IL | We have a 2210 that just died on us. Showing codes 300 301 302 303 304 305 470 and 472. Tractor will start but shuts down after 5 or so seconds. Any advice is appreciated.

| codes 300-305 are all Trans Solenoids. Code 470 is:ECU CAN error and code 472 is:ECU Configuration Error-EIC Mode 12 Feature 8. f300: Trans Solenoid #1 short f301: Trans Solenoid #2 short f302: Trans Solenoid #3 short f303:Trans Solenoid A short f304:Trans Solenoid B short f305:Trans Solenoid C short I don't know what these codes mean that is just what the sheat that I got from the dealer says. | |||

Godfrey,IL/ Greenfield,IL | cables are clean and alternator seems to be charging.... hard to tell when it only runs for a few seconds. We (by accident) think we have it narrowed down the the fuel solenoid on the injector pump. Does this make sense to anyone. When the solenoid is unplugged we dont get the tranny codes.

| Maybe you already know this, but the 2210 buhler versatile is the same tractor as the New Holland 8970's especially the last ones made. They have the electric hydraulic controls just like the 2210 does. Anyway, when I need something fixed on mine I call the New Holland dealer not the authorized Versatile buhler dealer. My local New Holland dealer will work on my buhler 2210 and knows WAY more than the local Versatile buhler dealer. | |||

Godfrey,IL/ Greenfield,IL | yes I understand the 2210 and 8970 are relatively the same tractor. I have been working with my local NH dealer as well as a distant Versatile dealer as our local one sucks for lack of a better word. just trying to track it down ourselves before we spend the money on the service call.

NE WI | Hope these help. I would check the common connector for corrosion and that harness for rub through. WC illinois | Take the plugs apart above the battery box and see if there is moisture in there. If there is clean the corrosion off the pins with wd40 or something similar and see if that gets it going. There was a service bulletin about a harness upgrade on a certain serial number range. NH and ver dealer here.

| Did you ever find the cause of the problem? I am having the same problem and same fault codes with my 2160. Thought I found the cause when I found corrosion in my wiring connect above the battery box, but while it seemed to lessen the problem for a few days, its now worse than ever and my connectors look good. Thanks Edited by davemc 4/21/2019 19:25 | |||
