King City, Mo | I planted agrigold a kandy Krisp. It was what we had as my work is an agrigold dealer. Planted it at 30k with the plot planter at the end of m plot to fill in and also the plot at moms. Used the sweet corn patch as a place to have covers growing for the field day. Some of it tillered. We were really pleased. Gave a truck load away driving around. Filled our freezer. Filled inlaws freezer. Filled most of moms freezer. Gave everyone at the seed house all they would take. So next year it'll prob fall on its face since this was a bumper crop this year. (image.jpg) Attachments ---------------- image.jpg (135KB - 179 downloads)

Martinsville, Ohio | Vision is my favorite yellow. We all have our favorites. Avalon types are my favorite white corns. The best this year was bi color and I like the types since Providence, an industry leader. https://www.google.com/#q=best+sweet+corn+varieties+ohio Rupp, Harris, Siegers are going to be some of your best suppliers unless you can get your seed dealer to give you a bag which will plant 2 acres and that stuff is $500 to $1000 per bag. https://www.google.com/#q=best+sweet+corn+company

Centralia, MO | I'm sort of an old traditionalist. Still like the Incredible and Bodacious for all yellow. Not a fan of the bi-color stuff, just doesn't seem to freeze or can as well as the yellow. I think the Incredible is an 85 day corn and the Bodacious is a 75 day corn. Bodacious is quite a bit shorter plant and I always thought the coons hurt it more since it was shorter but don't have any scientific proof of that. Enjoy both of them!

NWMissouri/SCIowa | Our Bodacious was good this year as well. Freezes good. Tastes great right off the grill with just a little butter and lawrys seasoning. I guess that is one thing to look forward to in dead of winter is pulling some sweet corn out of the freezer. Get a little taste of summer that way. We were blessed this year with more than enough to stock freezer and give lots away.

High Springs, Florida | Always had good luck with 277A and Obsession in Ohio. Treasure was a great tasting white sh2, but I don't think it is sold anymore, as it was very susceptible to rust.
