Do the new features make this a better baler than older versions and competitors? What baler do you like in this range?

| WOW!!!! I own a 2013 RB450 and have they made some big time changes. I kind of want to go get a new one after seeing that video. Mine is not a silage special, and my biggest headache with the whole machine is the whole pick up system. It appears that they have really focused on that and greatly improved it. I love the size of the baler and have baled a lot of hay with it and had almost no issues. I will say that from the looks of it they ahve complicated things under the hood a little. Mine is very very simple with just a couple chains and bearings and is almost idiot proof to work on if you have a problem. It appears that there is a little bit more going on with these new ones but still appear to be a very simple baler. I like the idea of moving the net wrap closer. I do have an issue as a spool of net gets smaller having some slack issues and I belive making that distance shorter will help some. Its not enough to get off and adjust the tension as the spool gets smaller but it can be annoying for a picky person |

Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA, | If yours is a 450 Utility, it will have nothing in common with these except the red paint. These will be the deluxe, expensive, heavy duty, etc. 4x5 version of the 560 line they brought out last year, supposed to be a 460 out as well. |

s MO | You would think that as long as balers have been around the pick up system would be almost perfected by now. |

| We are running one now, so far so good. Seems like if you use it and maintain it as intended it will roll them up for a long time. I studied it for a while and it seems purpose-built but not over-built. My neighbor has a new John Deere that is an over-built beauty but priced accordingly. The 450 is simple enough that I can understand it so basically anyone can. I hope that helps, good luck to you. |
