Its not much. Very slow with a 2250 loader on it. Annoying too, ours would stall out the powersteering while lifting heavy loads with loader. Not a separate pump design, has a priority valve for steering.

.
Not sure, but had a 685 2WD, it wasn't the lifting that was a problem but the steering cylinder on the front end was a weak point.

Tractor data says that the hydraulic pump puts out 15 gpm. http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/001/1/5/1152-caseih-585.ht...

I have a 595 with 2250 loader.OM says 15.1 gpm std, 17.3 gpm opt at 2300 rpm. Mine is std, Would be nice if loader was a little faster, but still very handy unit. Use 595 with bush hog hyd wood splitter to process lots of firewood each year.Tractor has been worked fairly hard, but well maintained, with no major issues.

Things aint like they used to be

We still have a 585 that was our manure loader and scraping tractor for 18 years until we got a skid loader. Has the 2255 loader and worked good for that. Always thought it lacked power in high range though. Has 9300 some hours now.

I have several 95 series and believe they are great long lasting tractors.

The only difference between the standard and higher flow pump was the size of the gear on the pump. The standard used a larger gear and a spacer plate behind the MCV valve to get the gears to mesh, you can put the small gear on and throw the spacer away to get the high flow.

Hello Dave,

It appears you have a skid steer style adaptor on the front of the loader. I am thinking of doing the same. Does it work adequately, can you share the make?

Yes it works well. We purchased it from our Caseih dealer but it was made by Kasco Manufacturing of Shelbyville, In.
