Chipman , Alberta | I had one for 6yrs,started out at 1800hrs.In that time I replaced both planetary drive hubs,1800.00/ea, the hyd npumps were done before I bought it.The motor in the 90 machine is a Ford, early ones were the cummins as in the 4700's.Look for cracks under the square tube that runs the length of the header where it attaches to the lift arms-lots of crawling underneath for this.Mine had a double knife and cut very well in canola, keep the divider nose pieces smooth and it will do well.Cab is nice, good visibility. The hydro lever linkage can give problems I have heard but mine never did.Has to be run at full throttle to run hyd knife and reel drives. All in all it was a good machine for me.Hope this helps. |
