Sanford Manitoba | Looking at upgrading to a 9660 walker machine. Question is how much more capacity can I expect in Wheat , Beans & Canola? |

Soutwest Ks. | Unless I am badly misinformed there will be very little difference. I don't think they changed the separator or walkers much if anything between the two machines. The hsp. would've been bumped but that would be it and normally hsp. wasn't an issue on a 9600. If you go STS I would say you will gain some capacity but my experience has been primarily in corn going from a 9600 to 9660 STS. Once Deere came out with the STS machine the walker machine had few updates other then more electronics from what I recall. |

| They are very similar as in the same threshing and cleaning capacity. The 9660 will have more HP,
and an airflow feeder house.
Depending on yields of those crops, you may not see much of any more capacity.
The HP is adequate under most conditions with a 9600, and when pushing things you just
lose it out the back. More HP will add to that. |

NE ND | I have a 9650W. I'd say you will gain a little to nothing over a 9600. One plus is it should be setup to run a 630F. |

| ran both and i think the biggest gain may have come from the 6 series head and being able to cut faster with it. |
