Picture is pretty close up. A broad picture would help me a little more. But it looks like a deutz from what I see in the picture.

Deutz has those pushrod tubes in the picture.

SAME-Lamborghini-Hurlimann (SLH) group as in Deutz built in Italy and Germany.

Yeah, that looks like a deutz. They make both air and liquid cooled engines.

Elmira, Ontario

SLH didn't buy Deutz Fahr until later.

My memory is the White and Agco tractors of the 90's (not including the large American built tractors) were built by SLH, using SLH engines and drive trains. The orange Agco tractors were air cooled, but the White tractors had a liquid cooled version of the same engine. There was nothing from Deutz on those tractors.

its a SLH engine.
in the orange SAME tractor they where air cooled.
Hürlimann and the bigger Lamborghini's had the same engine water cooled as your is.
btw,the whole tractor is a Italien built SLH wich came in three different colors plus the one you have in silver grey.

Southwest Wisconsin
The White 6105 is an SLH sourced tractor that uses essentially the SAME transmission teamed to a liquid cooled Lamborghini diesel. The 6105 uses the six cylinder turbocharged diesel with a mechanical injection pump with electronic governor. This gives the motor greater throttle response. The 6085 White uses the 4 cylinder Lamborghini turbo diesel, and the 6065 uses the same 4 cylinder in a non-turbo configuration.

Mine ant got no turbo. But I wouldn't call it a gutless pos. In top gear from idal to full throughtal it will push me back in to the seat and runs the mixer on idal no problem. You want a gutless pos get a jd6300

Many Americans think this for some reason. Duetz AG is a big engine company and one of the oldest. The company was founded by Nikolaus Otto, you may recognize him as the man credited with inventing the 4 stroke engine. This is seperate from the tractor company Duetz Fahr that has been owned by Same since 95. AG confuses people too. It's the abbreviation for the German word Aktiengesellschaft which is the equivalent of a public traded corporation in the US. It does not mean agriculture like some are led to believe.

Duetz is well and alive producing air, oil and liquid cooled engine for various applications. We have two on our farm. Fendt uses duetz in most of their tractors and duetz also builds engines for Volvo. Volvo is actually now the majority owner of duetz.

I like a lot of their stuff just because it's different. Very efficient engines though.
