Subject: Ts110 hydraulic problems

Madison, Fl
First off praise God for his Son who died for our sins. But lives again through His promise. A year ago started having hydraulic issues with my ts while running hydraulic motor on planter and sprayer. At some point pressure would spike and blow seals out of engine mounted boost pump fill crankcase with hydraulic oil and blow engine dipstick to Kingdom come. Last season replaced that pump multiple times and priority pack. Sent to local dealer with the same results. While running hay Baylor this fall if I ran engine at 1800 -1900 like it needed to be run would loose pto before bale was full. This was after the oil got hot by the way. Running engine wide open pto kept working but tore pick up head up. In all this time hydraulic flow lite comes on periodically. Now have lost the ability to pick up sprayer boom or fold them out. Was about to replace the steering pump witch by the way is steering fine decided to put boom pole on and check 3pt. Ten ft behind tractor hooked to backend of a lull telahandler picked front of the tractor off the ground. 4x4 with water in the tires and a full set of weights. Put tractor in reverse and picked up the lull it has dual assist rams by the way. Ran pressure and flow test by the new Holland shop manual 10 gpm@ 0 psi or 300 psi @ 0 gpm. Once again manual said to replace the engine mounted pump and the priority pack. Like a jackass guess what I did with 0 results. Got the lift cover off now 10000 hrs on pto all friction disk and plates look good but replacing. I don't know what else to do. Need help advice. Thanks as always H.T. 1 850 673 7711. May God bless all of the farmers

I would say.... if it lifts like that on the three point, the main pump is fine. The problem is isolated to the remote circuit. The first thing I'd do is remove the pilot line(load sense) from either the remote or the priority pack and see if it runs oil FROM the remote when you activate one of the remote spools. If it doesn't you have a problem with one of the shuttle checks in the remote. If it does flow oil from the remote pilot line then you've got a problem with the relief spool in the priority pack. Neither issue is uncommon. I often removed the combining/sequencing valve from the left side of the priority pack, marked the set screw on the back of the valve, counted the turns out as I removed it... then drop the spring, retainer and ball from the valve and cleaned it. Reassemble and have it work. Given the hours you've probably got brakes disintegrating or something that is shedding a lot of crap into the oil and causing these problems. A lot of that stuff will bypass the filters one way or another. Also check that the filter screen is in front of the combining/sequencing valve. This valve combines the flow of the main and front pumps into the remote circuit as well as providing main system relief to the remote circuit and second pump.
One other quick check to see if the problem is a shuttle valve in the remote circuit.... dead head or activate all of the remotes simultaneously that way demand will come from all directions and not allow load sense pressure to bleed to sump past a bad shuttle valve back through a spool. If that makes it work you know you have a bad shuttle.... of which there will be one in each side of the remote stack as well as between stacks in the load sense line if the tractor has more than 2 pair of remotes.
