NW Iowa | I have a RTK unlocke 262 that I am no longer using because we upgraded to a 372 for our Accuguide tractor. We have a WAAS EZ Guide 500 or a WAAS FM1000, both running EZ Steer, that we would like to use our 262 with so we can have RTK signal without having to purchase more unlocks. According to Trimble this can only be done with Autopilot and not EZ Steer. I have seen some posts on here stating that it can be done. I would like to know what cables to use and how to configure and setup the monitors for this. |

SEQ, Australia | I don't believe it can be done - it used to work with the 252 and 332 receivers, but I've never tried with a 262. |

| You can use the RTK262 with Ez-Steer on an Ez-Guide 500, but the FM1000 can only use its internal receiver with Ez-Steer. To do this, ask your dealer for a Power/Data cable, which has a cigarette plug on it for power, and a 9 pin serial connector, that will plug directly into the back of the 500. They will autoconfigure and talk to each other when you power them up.
This can be done with 252 & 262 receivers, but not the newer 372.
If you had an Autopilot system, you could use an external receiver with an FM/1000, but not with an Ez-Guide 500. |

| Yes, it will work. You will have to connect the 372 directly to the Nav - same wiring setup as the older 252 & FMD Combination. |
