18c ditch system | Why is Drago one of your choices here?

1, parts and service is good an close by 2, saves dry corn and picks down corn (from what I've herd and read) Youtube, and neighbor. 3, Seems like price for nice used ones aren't quite as insane As far as daily servicing, I'm not really sure yet.

SESD | Because a corn head is for getting corn from the field to the feeder house. Drago is the best in that category. You just have to decide how much emphasis you want on the chopping part and work from there. I don't know anything about chopping heads, but I just need a corn harvester, not a harvester/bush hog.

Boone, Iowa | Traded my 04 Drago chopping head last year for an 08 Drago head and moved my chopper boxes to the 08 head. A little more maintenance yes, but like all the other features of the head. I know they don't cut as nice as a Deere chopper head, but is know the primary feature of the Drago is to get more corn into the grain tank.

Clear Lake, IA | Don't know what color our machine will be this fall, but will more then likely have another Drago on it. We have been nothing but happy in two seasons with ours. We did get the fine chop kit, the one with the knife sections on it. Don't know it that product was thought threw all the way.... Should have got the turbo chop instead. If you have a dealer close I would go with the Drago, my $0.02 Photo is 165bu Smart Stax corn at 17% through a 9650STS and a 8 row Drago chopper. Granto, what do u use for a head on ur farm? Or what's ur experience?

liberty grove | had a drago one year and it was the worst corn combining head I ever owned(shook to many ears off the front of the header) and the chopping part was horrible- had the turbo chop option also. the only thing I did like on it was the auto deck plates- wish other manufactures would have that. switched to a 600 series deere and love it

NW IL | Geringhoff Rota-Disc..... We had a Geringhoff Northstar for years, moved to a Rota-Disc chopping this past fall... Man does that thing leave nice looking low stalks... Only a couple with Drago around here, haven't seen anything that special... Our Massey Dealer sells them and puts Geringhoffs on every new Massey that comes in... They even sell quite a few green ones, with the JD dealer literally right across the road, Quite a few Deeres come across the road with no head and go down the road with a Geringhoff from the Massey Dealer.....

I sell Drago 1. Will put more kernels in the tank, spring loaded deck plates 2. WILL NOT CHOP like any other, will leave 6-10 inch stalks, probably the worst for chopping 3. Picks up down corn very well 4. Good Durability 5. Good resale at current Drago Dealers 6. Wont brag about gear boxes after 5-10 years IMO

Walnut Grove, MN. | we had a geringhoff and went to a john deere head. the john deere head is heavier than the geringhoff head. to me it seems the john deere head does less ear shattering. the deere head does a good job of chopping to.

18c ditch system | Jason, I have a Deere and I don't wear green shorts. Head is slowed down, much better than 893 non chopping I used to have.

SE MN | The drago is fine if you're not concerned about the chopping. We owned one for 3 seasons. Very well built, never a mechanical issue. Snouts must be made from the same plastic that Tupperware uses, absolute crap. The deck plates are great until you pick damp stalks for a day and they stick open for the rest of the season. Talked to a friend that used to wrench on them and hated them. Hours and hours trying to get deck plates back moving. And yes high weekly care requirements. Get a deere and use the hyd plates.
