| Good tractors or not? What's the story and consensus on these tractors? Everything I've searched or read so far has been bad, just curious if everyone on here feels the same way or had any good experiences? |

Elsmore, Kansas | We have one... its an okay tractor. Its got a little over 5k hrs on it and still chugging along. Its no powerhouse by any means and it has spent its share of time in the shop. We used to spray with it but now it spends most of its time on a round baler and its really nice for that job. Pull a 5 16" bottom plow with it but it gives it a hard work out. |

Pesotum, IL | I may be in the minority here, but I like the MXM series tractor. From a mechanic standpoint, they have their quarks compared to the MX series. Completely different on board diagnostics than their big brothers. It takes a good deal of getting used to for me to jump in a MXM/MXU tractor and navigate the diagnostics. However, from an operational standpoint, I like running them. We ran a Puma (newer) 195 one fall on our Glencoe chisel plow and really liked it. Very comfortable ride and seemed to have plenty of power. The following fall we rented a Puma 180 and it was exactly the same except seemed to be lacking a little bit on power. I realize we went down 15 horsepower but the 180 didn't seem to have the power I thought it should. All in all, I think you'd be happy with the 130 after you got used to it. |

| Just traded my MXM 130 off. My biggest complaint is the hydraulics, the cables are cheap and always need adjusting. Other than that the tractor has been very good. Bought new and now has 5700 hrs. Heck of a loader tractor. Overall I give it a B+ grade. |
