Who makes a good bracket to mount monitors on the right side up above SCV levers?
Or just make my own?

K&M makes one for Sound-Gard bodies. I have never used one of these so can't tell you if it is a good one or not. There are probably others out there as well. If you are good with a welder, you can make your own also. Just don't do any welding inside the cab!

I have looked at those but can't tell by the pic where it's gonna fit in the cab?

It's a JD 4955 tractor by the way

The K&M one looks like it would fit where you are wanting a bracket but I'd call them up and ask before ordering.....

In our tractors they mount right on the post. Got them from JD.

In older JD Soundgard cabs, ask JD partsman in the cab parts, they had a plate that fit the curve of the right forward window ahead of you, you can mount a couple of things on it. Bolt on plate from Deere.

I don't have any pictures but I will try and explain what I did. I mad my own, I couldn't see the price in what JD had. I used 2 pieces of 1/4" X 1" flat bar stock. I seprated them enough to put a 1/4" bolt between them. I took the screws from the window lock outs and added a short piece of flat stock. Then welded it to the two piceces of flat so they run between the window post on the right window. Man that sounds confusing. I can try and get some picts.

Just about anything from the side post to the rear post will work. Use self drilling screws and your ready to mount. Height of bar is important for easy window opening.

Dad has a 3960 forage chopper and JD has a bracket, that fit under the "black metal lip", by the window; the lip that your cab foam fit underneath. It is #9 in this photo; it can slide anywhere along that black lip, and get snugged by those #10 screws.

It is too expensive from JD, for what it is, the last time I checked the price, but Dad has one on each side = 1 for electric forage chopper controls(right side), then one on the left side, has another clamped to that black lip, and it holds the rope, for the latch mechanism, for the wagon tongue "quick hitch/release".

Part # RE39122 bracket

2 of #R52938 screws

Just thought I would mention it as an option.

That bracket is for a 8100 thro 8400 tractor-unless that's what jdman has for a tractor. I thought he had the older soundgard cab like in a 4650

Last year, I tried to remove those Phillips head screws, for window latches = didn't want to loosen. (was going to built something, in-between those screws, too)

I even had an impact screwdriver and hitting it with a 2 lb hammer, and one still wouldn't loosen (=broke the phillips bit), I gave up on that idea, and added a SMV "female" bracket to my drink holder/ash tray. Put sprayer control, onto the "male" SMV bracket, and added another "leg" to stabilize it, against drink holder.

Note: Now, that I see the K&M bracket, it wouldn't work either, with the JD forage chopper controls, in right, rear corner.

There is 2 inches between the window and the edge of the bracket. It could be moved out since the holes have to be drilled. I would guess you could get three or four inches if you needed to.
