7800 MFWD Light Flashing

Subject: 7800 MFWD Light Flashing


The MFWD light is flashing on our 7800. It has been doing this for a while. The MFWD seems to work as it should. I was pushing snow with it last night and it made me think to ask. As usual the op manual is no help at all. Anyone know what it means?

When ours did that it would not disengage. It was a bad ground in the wiring harness.

Middlesex County, Ontario		Does the MFWD disengage? It fails to 4x4.

Solenoid probably became unplugged. Its down in front of the tranny.

Ayr Queensland Australia 4807		The wire connector on the soleniod is disconnected or broken . It gets torn off most times . Its located at the 4wd clutch pack

plug on bottom of tractor got hit by corn stalk, we have that problem every year, its an easy fix.... most of the time :D
