Subject: What are the differences between a New Holland T9 390 and a Case IH the same size

Southeastern, IL
Been pricing tractor leases and just for giggles I priced a New Holland straight out and got a big surprise how cheap I could buy it. What's the differences between a Case and New Holland? Also what is the autosteer system on the New Holland.

Lower resale value by probably 20k or more for a comprable red tractor unfortunately.

south central mn
the main difference in a red vs blue is in the cab controls . the headlight placement is different
the console on your right has a different handle in it.
the autosteer is identical in either tractor just a different screen when monitor powers up after that the autosteer is identical

As far as pricing goes this a brief explanation of the New Holland partnership with ethanol.
The American Ethanol partnership is good for any grower who sells to an Ethanol plant that is a growth energy partner.
Any New Holland dealer has the opportunity to use this program. There is no cost to the producer, just need to have the partnership with the Growth Energy plant. There are many plants scattered throughout the nation. If you have specific questions contact me.

Southwest Illinois
Multi function handle is a bit different. Display is not as big as Pro700. For us closest dealer was 30 miles away.

Heath, we use to run 3 blue tractors. As a rule, you could always buy the same size blue tractor ,at
least 10k less than red. We switched a few years back to all red on some great deals. As a suggestion to price both ,you might call Beard Imp.
at Ashland, IL they sell both, give them a call ask for Aaron, he's sold us a couple over the years.* I might add , I went to a farm sale a year
ago ,farmer had nice blue equipment, it sold 10-15 k less than red
would have brought IMO. But was 10-15k less when he bought it, so
I guess ....he's Even Steven LOL

Partnership is with growth energy comes out at 37% off list with frt. Easy to do a partnership. Got a growth number today in 15 min. for a farmer. Number is a life time one time thing.

On resale lets look at Machinery Pete Case IH STX 450 Pete shows 2003 at 2563 hours at $131,000 New Holland TJ450 2003 year 2568 hours Pete shows $125,000 Auction prices No $20,000. Someone is drinking some Red Tea.
Read rule of 72.in 7 years your 20,000 would have to be $40,000 No way.

Bought a 9.390 and used it on grain cart all fall. So far very pleased and the transmission is a much smoother shift than the T9020 we traded. I will also add to check with Aaron at Beard Imp. as we feel he will shoot you straight and is good to deal with.

The standard axle on most NH 4wd tractors is smaller than the standard axle on CI tractors. Otherwise, mostly control layout and cosmetic.
