South Carolina | I am looking a purchasing one of these this fall. Local Case dealer has only sold the 330 turbo till, so there are no great plains in the area to go look at. Which one of these would work better for my situation. Clay/Sitly Clay loam soil to sandy. Does one do better than the other on ground that is wet? I would pull it with a Case 8950, so what size would be good. Do these tools make clods if the soil is wet? Thanks |

| I have a 30' turbo max, does a great job and I like to vary the disturbance varying on field conditions. Only bad part about the max is greasing the thing, I like to park in the grass and grease it not so hard crawling around. |

Do you vary the disturbance through out the same field on the go or do you leave it at one setting for the whole field? I'm going to pull a 24ft TM this week if the weather holds, just don't know what to expect. Sounds like the "Greasing job" is going to be a PITA! You talking bearings or linkage or both? My field disk, I only grease the bearings about every 1000 acres. |

United States | I have a Case I-H Turbo 330 a 8950 should pull a 25 foot a 30 foot would be a load I would think. We're pulling a 25 with a 8420 mfd.
I don't like running it when it's to wet. Turbos 330s have a bunch of grease zerts too that a good thing .

Elsmore, Kansas | We have a 40' turbo max and pull it with a 435 stieger. It does a wonderful job and the ability to adjust blade angle on the fly is super nice. Its HEAVY and will pack the ground if u get out on it to quick. I have never pulled a 330 but know some guys that have and they like them but my vote has to go to the turbo max. |

| Usually set at 1-3 depending on small weed pressure and leave it set for the field.
I grease bearings about every 150- 200 acres, grease is cheap and at 10mph or better they get some action.
I really like mine, I have a neighbor who has a cih 330 and it does a.good job but I don't think you can change angles.

MD. eastern shore. | We have both and if i had to have one i would keep the 330. NO matter how much angle you put on the turbo max it doesn't bury any trash or fill in any tracks. It does do a different job than the 330. The 330 is also alot lighter to air out some wet ground. I just got the turbo max this fall so have only used it on cornstalks. I think it will do a good job in the spring , to work our chicken manure in before planting corn into bean stubble. We have a25 ft 330 and a 24ft tmax. The turbomax is a lot harder to pull, it is all our mx 240 wants. But they say 18ft is the next size down and didn't want that. |
