Cobett hands down. Have used Ritches for years and nothing compares to this. It ices over and you stick your foot in it and pull the ice out.

We put Cobett waterer in 10-15 years ago, put 2 more in this fall. We put electric line to first water tank and have never put an elec. end on the wire. A wire isn't a bad idea, but we just haven't needed ours yet.

Bohlmann;have had the jug, ritchie and others, the Bohlman waters in the last 5 years have really been updated-we run the electric models with the overflow option-Mark is the head guy at Bohlmanns,owner-with hands on experience-they are priced reasonable and if you mention stock talk-and Gary Vetter you should get a discount-if you have a emergency and need a water today he usually can get you one-I try to give him a 4week heads up-He likes stock talk, and understands cattle feeders-and if you have a suggestion on how to change a water he will listen!
We have one now temporary installed without the overflow hooked up or the electricity and it is workin fine-almost afraid it might be permanent, you can do a goggle search they have a good website-Denison Iowa

Very happy with the Cobett, just installed a second one. Had experience with Ritchie's and like the features of the cobett much better.

We have a couple of SPI 352ng waterers, very tough & simple design, just use a submersible heater in the outdoor one.

Cobett waterers? Any people have had them freeze up with electric light bulbs inside?
