Saskatchewan | Looking to install PTO on my 2009 caseih 435 w/powershift, the price for the parts kit from case is $19500 in western Canada. Has anyone bought one from a US store, might need to go south of the border for this if its less money. We are in southern Saskatchewan if that helps. Big thanks to whoever can check this out. CND | It seems like every tractor is different, but two dealers in ND said doing a 2004 STX375 would be 15-18,000 installed. They both told me to start ordering the parts now if we wanted it done berfore fall harvest. We didn't do it as we found a tractor that all ready had a factory PTO. |

Osnabrock ND | I bought a stx 385 from millers in Brandon, back in 09. Had them put in a pto and they said it would be $8000 more. Must have paid too much for tractor to start with. Haha |

Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | My understanding of the PTO system on the late model Steigers is that it's significantly easier and cheaper to do it at the factory than to retrofit one at the dealer or customer's shop. I believe it has something to do with the transmission, there may even be part of the housing that has to be changed. Our local dealer orders all tractors with PTO whether the customer wants it or not because of the big price difference between factory and dealer install.

Litchfield, NY | dpom, Does your 435 have twinflow hydraulic pumps? You cannot put PTO on units with twinflow pumps and visversa cannot put twinflow on units with PTO. In 2011 with teir IV Steigers you could have both PTO and Twinflow installed at the same time. |
