Davenport, Washington | Want to give us more to go on. Freeman balers are Red and white alright, is that the Red one you want to know about? No wonder people don't answer some posts here! Edited by IHforever 2/8/2013 12:28

18c ditch system | Unorthodox way of feeding system..

NW Washington | Their web page is not great but it says they come with different engines and Duetz, Cummins and even Wisconsin are mentioned. I did not think Wisconsin was still in the business. My guess is that Deutz are most common. http://www.alliedsystems.com/freeman/380pt.htm

Northern CA | I don't think the feeding system us unorthodoxed. I have eight of them. What would you like to know?

Davenport, Washington | Well Fazahay I just bought two 200t's and I wouldn't mind asking one question. Haven't run them yet but just rebuilt the Wisconsin on one. Question: on the arm that swings to feed hay. On both balers the swing arm bearing is loose enough for the far end of the swing arm to start wearing on the curved tube underneath it. Is that bearing ajustable or do you just buy everything new. What about putting the torch to it and bend it up a little? TIA.

Northern CA | No torch; no bending! It is probably not the bearing that has playin it, but the brass bushing is worn. Do you have a parts book? If not, go on ebayas they we usually there. Also, make sure you keep the bull gears well greased. You don't need to buy the expensive lube from Freeman; Cheveron makes a product that is very similar for about 1/5 the cost. Email is good if you have questions along the way. They are good simple balers

Davenport, Washington | Thanks Fawazhay I may take you up on the e-mail in the future and I'll go after that bushing in the spring time! Also thanks for the bull gear grease Warning! I don't see your e-mail button though? Edited by IHforever 2/9/2013 19:03

Davenport, Washington | To Fawazhay from Joel Jahn here in Davenport WA. I would like to ask another question about 200 T's. I noticed some iron peices bolted to the front of my plunger. I am now wondering if that's why my bales don't have "ears" on the one end. Would a flat plunger face give me "ears" on that tail end? Would work better with ears for me to pick up with the stackcrusior> Thanks. I also e-mailed you this from my hotmail

wasco, ca | You need those flat metal pieces to push the hay back far enough so the hay dogs can keep the hay clear of the needles when they come up to make a tie
