| Looking to find what Flexi-coil model this Deere 787 is. Is this a 230 bushel tank? And what splits, if any were availble. Thanks.

Alberta Canada |
They were the same as a 2320 or 1720 Flexicoil. Either 170bus or 230bus. Dont know how you tell which is the bigger one. I think the sides are taller. Have seen JD 787s listed with both bus. size. As far as I know Flexicoil wa the only one with different numbers for the cart size.

| Your picture is of the biggest Deere cart the 230 bus. The 2320. |

|
| Thanks. Do you know what model case put on it when they bought flexicoil? Deere no longer supports this model. |

Alberta Canada | CNH still supports these. Parts from a 2320 or 1720 will fit he 787. Just wont be green. |

Medicine Mound,TX | Yes, you can still get parts for the 2320 from CNH. We have one. Pretty bullet proof. Only thing I don't like is all the weather stripping. |

East Prairie, MO | Would a 1740 just be a newer version of this? That's what my Flexicoil cart is and it looks a lot like this one. |
|

|
| Do you know what number case put on this square tank model by chance? |
|
|
|
| Hi yes the 1740 is newer version of 1720 I have a 2340 which is newer version of 2320. The case number i think is adx 2230 for the 230bu size i think. |

Southeast Washington | I know I am late in responding and others have already said it but it is like our ADX 2230 cart. |

South central Ohio | Was the 1720 good for blowing fertilizer too?

Rivers, MB | Old Pokey - 1/16/2013 19:40
Thanks. Do you know what model case put on it when they bought flexicoil? Deere no longer supports this model.
When did that change Old Pokey? My cousin has the identical cart to the one in your picture. He's never mentioned anything about not getting parts from JD anymore. I'm fairly certain he got parts for it this last spring from JD for it still. |

South central Ohio | instead of seed. Use it as a fertilizer blower on a strip till bar. |

| I called the local Pap'e deere dealer with part numbers for fans and meters for the 787. No longer available. One of them was available until supply ran out, but it was on the east coast. Case however, still has many of them and some parts you just have to retrofit. |

|
East Prairie, MO | That's what my 1740 does exclusively so I would imagine the 20 will too? |

East Prairie, MO | Ok guys, I've become a little disoriented about the Case number. I see that the 2230 is the Case number for the big one, what model will I ask for to get parts for the 1740 at the CNH dealer? Thanks |

SW Sask | Case and NewHolland renumbered the next series of steel-tank Flexicoil carts, 2340. The meter rollers (as an assembly) are NOT the same as 1720/2320.
I believe that you should be able to get 1720/2320 parts through a CaseIH or New Holland dealer, if they're willing to look a bit.
If you are in a REAL pinch, all of the components are common, so you should be able to buy the plastic meter roller segments, bearings, etc, and rebuild rollers on the shafts you have. The shaft size on 20 series will be a bit shorter than 40 series.

SW Sask | Close, but not quite. ADX carts were the same as Flexicoil 40 series. The 40 series offered variable rate drive, and (if memory serves me right) had the same meter boxes and rollers as the 3450 cart, which is wider than the rollers in the 20 series. So individual PARTS will be common, except the shafts. The ASSEMBLIES are not the same.
