Tip of the Thumb of Michigan
I need one more outlet for hydraulic seed drive. My dealer said I would need a load sensing line for power beyond. I would like the fifth, but I'm told it will be about $2000 and I didn't want to spend anymore than I have too. Sounds like the power beyond might not save me much though.

There is no fifth rear remote available for a 7830... There are midmount valves available and they can maybe route some hoses to the back, but those are not cheap either. I think power beyond is the way to go.

As long as you have a remote running in continuous flow you don't have to have the load sensing line. In other words if you have vac motors or CCS fans running at the same time you will be fine with power beyond without load sense.

Don't know if the large 7's are the same as an 8030's series or not but if they are you can put power beyond on for less that 75.00 These couplers the ones with the yellow & green dust caps are from a 5000 series utility tractor and are pretty cheap actually thinking less than 25 bucks but would have to look up the part number to double check. Used this setup to run the variable rate on a 1770NT for 3 years and worked fine, would still be using it but I bought a new planter without markers so that freed up a hyd outlet so I use that one for VR instead.

just put on a power beyond on a 7930 for a 1790 planter. thought about a 5th SCV but that was about $3,000 compared to a power beyond at about $600 (cant remember the exact prices)

+1
We use this very setup. Vac fans hooked to scv ensures Hyd seed drive always has enough flow through power beyond.
