Southwest Illinois | Has anyone ran one of the 880 CF draper headers? Friend of mine was not impressed with a Honeybee three years ago and he went with a CIH draper. My dealer has seen one demoed at another dealership and was very impressed with it. I just want to hear from someone that has put several acres on one. Thanks in advance. |

Charles City. Iowa | We are a New Holland dealer in NE Iowa. There was a few sold in NE Iowa and we have some sold for next year. I like the way they drive the cutter bar they call Synto Drive. All drives in middle of the header no drives on the end. I also like the tranport wheels are inside the header hit a switch and wheels come down like a airplane put the front tongne and go.
You see Synto drive on all Bean headers in a short time. They are built in Burlington, Iowa too.

SE Mo | Delta Ford NH at Charleston had one last fall. NH was taking it and a combine all over the country to try and get the acres throgh it. They were using it on there (stallings) farm. I didn't get to see it personally but I did see a video of it running and it did look good. I went and looked at it and it should be a lot better in mud than a Mac Don because of where and how the belt is positioned. Other than that, that's all I know other than I would like to try one myself but the $$$$.
Do you know a guy over your way by the name of Boreman (spelling?). |

southern tip Illinois | I seen it at stallings farm , did a good job but seemed heavy. They were going to run it on a combine from delta new holland but it would not pick it up. |

|
| What model combine would not pick it up? |

SE Mo | I THINK it was a CR 9065 that NH had on it. The rep was telling me about another combine they had it on that wouldn't pick it up very high (maybe that was stallings). Definitely would need the large lift cylinders. But the head was 40' and also was loaded up-- pea auger, low speed transport kit which added a lot of weight |

| Guess I should be ok, only went with a 35' and have the large lift cylinders on my 9065. No extras, didn't get the wheel kit either. |

Alton, Ia | Thanks for the pic Steve, I've been wondering about the knife drive. We were at a combine clinic with one last September, but I had to leave before I had a chance to peek under the hood. Looks like an electrical drive and not hyd. Correct? |

|
| I'm guessing that it is just a plastic demo unit he is showing with the electric motor. |
