Has anybody been successful running a rate controller dry with a 2600 display? According to Deere they are not compatible. 2600 can run rate controller liquid but not dry. Ag Express heard of someone doing it but wanted me to check into it more. Thanks!

Lots of guys running Raven's ISO rate controller with 2600 on spreaders. Or are you talking specifically about greenstar rate controller?

Yes, I have personally seen it work, It works perfect. JD just does not want to support the 2600 is maybe why they say it will not work. I have seen it on a 10 ton single propuct Doyal spreader. It will even work with a swath pro activation and shut off when you drive into already applied areas.

Looking to run a BBI spreader with a 2600. With the rate controller dry and swath pro it would turn the chain on and off. Is it really worth the swath control? I don't mind turning it on and off. I can still do variable rate without swath control with a harness and controller through Ag Express.

Just set my floater up these fall works great.Ag express in Grand Island made my wire harness.I had a dickey john already,so we added a dickey john air cart module and the wire harness plugged right in. the prescriptions had to be wrote for seed and things worked well. Ag express is really good to work with.

What software version are y'all running? Did you have to back date it?

we also had ag express hook us up, we were running raven 660 and they set up a dickey john controller for us works great through 2600 once you finally get it set up, all of our mapping and everything is automatic, just select proscriptions like always and it works great.

Do you have swath control working with it or manual on/off?

both will work only thing that I couldn't do was split screen with guidance an the task controller, but you can set screen for guidance and target rate

we were happy just to get it working right before fall, how you get swath pro into it, do you have anything additional to set up other than the activation or how you do it?, never asked the guys at ag express
