East central IL | I have been thinking of 22 or 24 ft unit pulling wih 180 hp tractor. trying to get away from chiseling in fall and improving no till sedbed in spring. |
Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | I don't think you can pull one that big. |

East central IL | I'm fairly flat and not concerned about going more than 7 or 8 mph. I have no doubt about having my hands full, but trying to cut down on tracks accross the field. |

United States | That will be a load I tried to pull our 25 foot turbo 330 with a 1586 would not handle it

western WI | It will work a lot better if you pull it at 10 mph, we have a 40' we pull at 10+ with a MT 865 |

Modena, Wisconsin | You will be much happier with an 18 footer. You will still be able to challenge 180 HP with an 18 foot. |

| shouldnt be a problem if the tractor is 4wd . many are pulling 30 ft with 8400,8320,8330 around here |

I have not seen a turbo till III, but what I am speaking of is a series II turbo till.

kentucky | I have a 24 ft. Turbo Till and tried it one season with a caseih 7140 with fwa,,,it was just way too much of a load. We were using it to air out some bean stubble in the spring before planting corn,,,only had it set to go in about two inches and it was still hard to pull. Needless to say that when we tried it at the max depth it would almost spin out the tractor. On a side note,it uses constant hydraulics so I would say it would use up 15 hp. on hydraulics alone. |

north, ala | they recommend 240-315 drawbar min. for a 30ft, they might pull it but not very fast.most ive seen dont use a mfd tractor. |

| it takes hp to make speed and you do not have enough hp to pull even a 22' with 180hp. Dont care how flat you are. No way no how
| No way. 180 hp wont touch a 22 ft machine. Don't care how flat you are. 10hp per ft min period. As mentioned an 18 ft would be a plenty for you not to mention an added weight kit. |

Flora IL | They are right. Speed helps these tools work... |

Manual says no to added weight on the 18ft. |

Hodgenville KY | Get a Salford RTS instead, 24' no problem for 180hp, less part wear/maintenance, does same job. |

| In my immediate area - john Deere 8420 on 30' Turbo till, case ih 330 on another 30', and a case ih 9370 on a 40'. Just my 2 cents.

NE SD | We pulled a 22' with a 7130 fwd with no problems. Hills etc. I don't believe you have to go 10. 7-8 is fast enough. Speed=power. We pull a 30' with mx 245 or 340 with no problem. We get good soil movement and leave an excellent seedbed. |

| We had a JD 8200 2-wd, 180hp I believe somewhere close to that with a 24' turbo till and was definitely a load for the tractor |

Western illinois | I agree on the extra power for the hydraulic down pressure. That's
one thing I didn't like about them. My 7240 mfwd wouldn't handle
a 24 footer satisfactorily. |
