I have been shopping for tractors and am seriously considering either one of these, excellent dealers for both so not a problem there, loaders would be on either, autoquad in john deere, and powershift on new holland, those are the major differences i guess, also new holland twenty thousand cheaper of course, but have been trying to get mostly deere but not at all a deal breaker, so what would one of you choose and why? I do like no def on deere but transmission better on new holland.

we have a new holland and its been nothing but trouble. Seems like quality control is the main problem. Just little things like hydraulic leaks and electrical connections drive me nuts

Have you drove the Massey? Between those two it'd be tough but I'd go NH. $20k is A LOT of money to me

Haven't had a chance to drive a new R series, but we were mighty impressed with the T7 series that was sent with the NH round baler we demo'd in the summer. It was certainly nicer than the 7130 the JD dealer sent with their baler.

I drive past Deere and cnh to get to my MF dealer. I'm not sure where you are, but for the money a new tractor costs, $.25 a mile it costs to drive to a dealer I would at least check one out. May be worth the drive for you

Michigan's Thumb
We have a T7 210 and it been good so far, the main reason for buying it was its turning radius compared to deers or case. We aren't new holland men either, we have all three brands. 2.5 gal of urea in 50 in hours.

+1 on turning radius. I went to Fendt and what a difference at least from a ten series Deere. Has Deere not fixed this yet in the R's?
