Traverse City MI | Looking at these for a MFWD loader tractor. They seem similar in specs so I would like to hear from those that own either of these. If you own one what do you like or dislike about either one? It will be used to load round bales, pitch manure, and move 2000lb pallets of shelled corn. Thanks for your time. |

Warburg, AB | What's the tranny pattern on the 65A? If the Deere is that 3x3, I don't like the inverted shift pattern on it. Love that side shifter on a 95U Farmall. Look at the weights - I've heard complaints about Farmalls being light, but nothing some cast or calcium can't fix. Hard to lighten a Deere when/if they're heavier (whether they need to be or not).

middle ga | I am the satisfied owner of a 5075E. It has front wheel assist and ballast in rears with six front weights. It will pull most anything within reason for its size. Sorry I cant comment on loader as I don't have one. Has three cylinder with turbo and is fuel efficient. Makes a good haying tractor. Three ranges with three gears in each range. Do a lot of mowing with it also. Good tractor for the money. My advise is test drive both and make your decision.

NE Iowa | Bought a Case 75A this summer. Both the Case and Deere are cheap India made tractors. But don't get me wrong they are a good buy for the money right now and don't regret the purchase at all. They are under 75 hp so don't have to have the major tier IV emissions stuff. No exhaust filters or DEF fluid on either one until tier IV final in 2014. This is one of the reasons they are cheap right now. I got a mfwd 75A Case for under $21,000 new. Case has 30" rears and 11" wide front tires. JD is only 28" rear and 9.5" fronts. Case is 4 cylinder engine and JD is 3. I don't have a loader. I use my 75A on a hay rake and for hauling round bales. It will go on the 6 row planter next spring. Really good on fuel. The high low shift is on the left side and the 1-4 / R lever is on the right side. Takes some getting used to but shifts better then the 40 year old Farmall 826 it replaced. I think the Case and JD are very similar overall but found a better deal on the Case and always wanted a new "Farmall". |

Nova Scotia | 75A would more correctly class with a 5075E?
65A versus 5065E
Never driven either tractor, but I've researched these as I like the general concept of them. The main thing I'm concerned with is transmission set up for loader work. 8x2 on CIH, 9x3 on Deere. Both are RH reverse only. (55A can have 8x8 shuttle...smaller tractor)
Check the speed charts to see if the reverse speeds are appropriate for your job, Seems to me High reverse on the Deere is too fast to be usable.
Edit: The MF 2635 should be on your list if you are looking at 5075E and 75A, same power and better hyd flow and 8x8 shuttle shift.
All three are India build price leader basic tractors.
