West Central, IA | 53,000 lb John Deere 200 CLC with Hydraulic Thumb What's a good hourly rate for custom work - cleaning up trees, building sites, cement work, etc. General excavating, no precision drainage work. We supply operator and fuel. thanks |

East Central Ia | Buddy charges 100$ for bucket work, and 125$ for hydraulic thumb work. Asked a cousin who does it for a living, i'll let u know what he says as well.
Edit: My cousin charges 120$ for most jobs he said.

SE Mo | $100 sounds cheap to me. I get that for my 29000 lb minimum. Might be difference in the area though |

central - east central Minnesota - | I'm too close to metropolitan areas . . . . Here, it'd be min $150 hr and up to $200 hr. But, the guy for $150 hour can do 3 times the work of another guy that charges $140 hr. Experenced excavator operator with a higher priced hourly rate is worth more (get more work done) then a bargin hourly rate person that can run a excavator . . . . |

| We get $135 hr for komatsu pc 138-8. 32000lb machine and $160hr for komatsu pc220 lc-8, 54,000lb machine includes fuel and operator. |

north central iowa | $175 per hour is what we pay here but the guy we use is a one man show that has done it for 25 years. He absolutly makes that machine work like a tornado. |

SW Ont | It also depends on how you change for moving to the site. |

East Prairie, MO | I've got a friend that has a 255 Daewoo with a very experienced opererator that charged $150 for some fence row and ditch digging he did for me lately, got a lot done in a short amount of time and the ditch was to grade with a laser. It was WELL worth it. |

NC Indiana | Call a rental place and see what they charge by the day, week, month. That's what it sounds like you're doing anyway, to me. |

West Kentucky | Fuel $40 hr
Operator $25 hr
Machine W/T $25 hr

Western IL | We are 100 dozer and 130 excavator |

|
Western Iowa | Hate to say it, i have had a deere, case and komatsu machines and none of them would burn $40 an hour in fuel. That is just nuts. Average about 4 gallons an hour here for a machine that size.
I have a dozer with an M11 cummins in it, wieghs 60K and if you absolutely stand on it all day long you might burn 10 gallon an hour. |
