Subject: Acra Plant openers and V-Slice inserts (Pros & Cons)

I just got my new CFC Dist catalog today. And was going thru it this evening.

And was wandering how this Acra Plant system works. Pros & Cons

Its expensive. But thought about trying it on one row to see how it works.

I tried the v slice inserts on my JD 7000, broke one on a rock. They stick out past the double discs at the back and can break easily if you have rocks. I took them off and put keeton seed firmers on.

I've heard that they will smear the side walls. Was told you don't want anything below the seed disks.
