We hnning ave been iterested in upgrading tractors and was wondering if there were any problems with the new emisions there isn't any running in our area . Would like to hear some pros and cons before purchasing. We curently are familiar with 30 series and the r series before the last emisions upgrade. Thanks in advance.

Slicker than a Yes album.
No probs last year. I expected some kind of sensor, filter, turbo problem, but there were none. Though, it only ran the planter, sprayer and grain cart. Not what I'd consider heavy pulling. 8335RT.

There was a hyd problem, but it was also related to a hyd prob on the planter. Touchscreen was a major improvement.

We have had a few tractors pop an EGR code but, for the most part, they have been trouble free for us.

One sitting at the local CIH dealer that has 60 hrs on it.  It's an 8310r, owner got fed up with it and traded it for a red one.

8335R would ask for a parked regen all the time. Changed sensors and still did it. Left the boss in the middle of field one night for 6hrs because tractor power derated and couldn't pull itself out of the field let alone the planter too. The dealer change al the sensors I think and got it working but we traded it on a 2012 model 8335R.

If you deactivate the regen to many times this will happen

I know of a local 8335RT traded in on a new 550 quad because of issues with the 8335RT. I'm not exactly sure of the issues but I know the local JD dealer got no help from JD because nobody could figure out was wrong with it. DTAC told the dealer if you figure it out let us know. They traded instead of waiting for somebody to figure it out.
