Subject: Walmart Semi: IH 9400i on Taylor Martin auctions

Noticed that Taylor Martin has a bunch of ex Walmart IH 9400i's at upcoming auctions. Has anyone purchased one of these ex Walmart trucks? Most are eagles, with ISX 400-450 hp, and 10spds, but I'm wondering if anyone has been around one of them? I've looked at truck paper and see many 07's on lots for 30k and up. What do they bring on these big truck auctions with around 600K for miles? Thanks

The non blue part of Minnesota.

Ive wondered how a 10 speed, 4-450 hp engine, with a 2.55 gear ratio will pull out of the feild?

They pull fine if ya don't attempt up-shifts before getting on hard pack.

Central Nebraska
My uncle bought one with 600k miles on it, it's now got about 800k. Set up just like you described. My cousin that drives it says it's "gutless" but it seems to get him to the elevator and back just fine. They haven't had any trouble with it. We have a Freightshaker with a 10 speed, an M11 set at 330, and 2.79 gears that pulls out of fields just fine with 1,000 bushels of corn on, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I would be surprised if they bring 15k. If you are signed up for ritchie bros, you can see what their trucks bring. Also several others list results if you join.
