SE VA | Flat ground, clay and sandy loam soils. 8950 mfd is biggest tractor we have. Thanks for any info. |

Western illinois | just demoed a 24'. put it on a 7240 mfwd and couldn't pull it
like i wanted. 10th gear and not deep enough to cut stalks well.
i would say 300 hp for a 30' at least. they pull hard. |

SE VA | Thats kinda what i figured. I just noticed that you can buy a 30ft used cheaper than a more narrow one. Thanks. |

WC Franklin Co., In. | We sometimes rent a 12' TT. We've got it on a 160HP 2WD tractor. It' pulls it fine, but it knows it's back there. I'd say Bill is pretty close.... 300HP and 8 wheels pulling it. |

Seneca Kansas 66538 | We have pullled ours with a dt200A, and noticed a neighbor pulling one with a 9190 granted you cant pull it quite as fast as 350 hp but you can pull it.

Modena, Wisconsin | General rule is 10 HP per foot here and then you need enough weight also. A 4020 turning 120 would not have the weight to pull a 12 footer unless dead level and it had duals and weights.

Union Kentucky | An 18ft pulls our Deere 8235R really hard in the rolling hills, we thought that it would pull really easy but it turns out to take a lot of hp. |

|
Saronville NE | Neighbor has a 30ft on a 8320R with front duals and say they wouldnt want any less tractor to pull it at the speed you are supposed to run em at 8+ mph. I ran a 22ft on a 8245R 2 yrs ago, it wasnt big enuff, was ok on flat, but any hills at all you were at 5.5 or less. |

CNY | 10 hp/ft sounds right. I can pull a 20'with a 7810 but it will churn on a grade unless conditions just right. No duals. Prefer to use 4960 w/ duals if it's available. |

|
CMS | Our 30 ft will make our 8320R's cry at 8mph, the 8360R will pull it as fast you want. It doesn't look like it would be a hard pull, but it is a load

| Buy the 30' and remove couple of outside shanks. Spare parts for later. |

|
North Central Kansas | the 10hp per foot would be more for the landalls and such
our 30 foot TT we were told around 8 per foot
have a 230 hp 846 Versi pulls easy! |

North Liberty and South Bend, Indiana | Is that a CaseIH 9190? |
|
|
|
north central ky | the turbo till will pull harder than a landoll or a case 330. our neighbors had a 30 footer and they said it gutted their 305 magnum. they got a case 330 and said it pulls it good. we tried a 24 footer on our 8110 with a 30% chip and it wasn't enough power for the hills. |
