East Central Ks | Looking to purchase a 3 point bale unroller. I can buy several models rated for 2000 - 3000 lbs for $850 - $1000. Looks like the dew eze might be alot heavier construction. It is around $1650 in price. What is every ones past experience. We will be feeding close to 100 cows, usually 3 bales per day. Any thoughts.

Eastern Half of Kansas | Nieghbors have a deweze on the tractor, I priced one, couldn't see giving $1600 for one. I have an $800 one from S&H in Lockwood, it works fine. Be careful, when you're pricing, some dont include cylinder and hoses or 3pt pins. S&H came with cylinder and hoses, can't remember on pins, I think. |

East Central Ks | Yes I priced one from S&H, and that is what i will likely do. S&H are good people to deal with. Sure wish they were a little closer.

Eastern Half of Kansas | Just ran across this. It's exactly what I bought from S&H :

Mine is all red with black spinners, I think mine was built in Missouri, but can't remember the company name without looking. You move the small flat iron's between the cylinder and arms to change from 4 and 5 foot bales. |

| Guy who ran a welding repair shop and propane business built bale unrollers for years. There must be hundreds of them sold around in this region. He has been retired for a few years now. I have two of his units bought about 5 years apart. They really hold their value at farm sales. The only part that ever breaks is the pivot on the scissors action for the arms. Might be because I have too big of a cylinder on it. |
