Does anybody know if Deere approves 710s for floaters regarding warranty? Also would like to know what size of narrow tires guys use, wondering if 480/105R50s would make more sense compared to the 380s(no row crops)?
TIA

I ran a set of 710's on a 4720 this summer. Call tony at harrys tire, iowa (563) 374-1253. Hes most knowledgable guy I found with regards to flotation tires. There was a guy from up around kamsack that was getting tires for a 49 at the same time we were. Seems to me there are clearance issues with anything bigger than 710's on a 4920, unless you relocate the tool/battery box. but its been done. I hope we never go through anything like we went through this year, but if there is anything close I would want to go bigger than 710's on a 49, they were a good match for a 47 tho.

hopefully hoss will jump in, I think he did 800's or 900s on a 4930. I may have a pic.

these sprayers are so heavy that I don't know if another 4" of width would help keep them up (dif between 380 and 480) also wondering on availability of a rim to fit. The only time we have our narrow tires on is for pre-harvest when ground is normally hard and dry. Otherwise, it's 710's. Can't tell you about warranty. Seems logical to me 710's would be easier on the machine than the factory floaters.

The 4930 came from hoss I think, or someone else on here posted it. They look like 710. 42?

The tires I got are continental R1W's

You can order 650R46 tires from factory, that is what we did, we also got 380R54 for "normal use"

From what I can see on Deeres website 620/50r46 are the biggest floats available from factory.

Iowa

At my last job I helped many people with 620-900 floats on 49's.  This one is my favorite 900's on a 4930 and yes Tony is the man for floats on Deere sprayers.
