I bought a 2006, 1300 gallon with 90 foot booms, raven 440 monitor, hyd. pump this May. It seems like a well built outfit. Mine has alot of plumbing, took longer to winterize. With all the rain we had, I sprayed alot of 6-700 gallon loads. Pulled it with IH 5088

We had an 05 1300 gal gregson with an 80' boom. It worked great and the booms held up very well. I loved the hydrolic slide axles. Loosen 4 set screws, drive forward, hit the hydrolics and in it goes. We sprayed pre's on 120" then down to 90" for post. Traded it for a top air TA2400 with 120' booms.

No experience with the trailed models. The 3pt 200 and 300 gallon models break their frames in the weak spot above the lift pins. Assuming we're talking about the MS-Gregson sprayers from Quebec.

We have 2 G1000Z sprayers (1000 gallons with 93' tri-fold air-assisted booms).  Both machines have the 3pt hitch kit to improve manoeuvrability in vegetable fields. The pair of them does 100 hours a week between June and October.  Overall they are good sprayers.  The older one (a 2002 model I think) has some trouble with the boom (too weak, lots of welding done on it).  Other than that, the only trouble areas are electronics supplied by Raven (valves, flowmeters, etc.).

We like ours, its been trouble free out of the box. Five section boom is built to last. We use it to spray 1000+ acres/year. Picture shows our Gregson pull type configured with 3 of the 5 sections extended and burning down CRP ground for corn in 2004.
