Subject: New Kubota RTV with hyd (lots of pics)

.
After waiting nearly 10 months, I finally took delivery on a Kubota RTV 900 with utility valve. Dealer had never sold one with the valve, and in trying to push things along, the district rep told me he had never heard of a farmer buying one. I can see it coming in extremely handy for brushing fence lines and clearing overhead limbs. The package adds speedometer, hand throttle, above box air cleaner, and hydraulic valve assembly. I did some research before ordering, and though Kubota sells Stanley hydraulic attachments, they want a small fortune. So I checked out ebay and bought both a used hydraulic chain saw and pole saw for way less. I'm still waiting for a windshield and roof that were ordered with the machine. The 10 year old Gator 6x4 left in trade, good machine, but it was time for an upgrade. I am really impressed by how well built this machine is. Lacy, my little assistant in the picture absolutely adores going for rides.

Interesting, thanks for the post. Can the hydraulics be used while driving the UTV? Like running a spray pump?

How hard would that roll-guard be to remove? Just in case someone didn't want it?

.
The hydraulic flow and specs seem to be a secret, I can't find them in the manual, online or in brochure. The chainsaw manual specs show psi of 1,000-2,000, and optimum of flow of 5-8 gpm. I will probably add or replace the pole saw hoses and make them longer, but these were the hoses it came with. The handthrottle only works when parked, but hydraulics can be run while machine is in motion. The roll cage isn't designed to be removed. I think a sawzall is the only way to take it off;(

Great little machines..... I've done lots of work with mine.I pull a 150 gallon sprayer and spray 300 X 2 acres each year. mine is an early model. I believe the new ones have an updated transmission. mine lacks a little power....... won't spin the wheels....... other than that no complaints

I hope that the HYD pump is better in those than our Kubota zero turn mowers.

Extra hydraulic tank, and hd oil cooler are added for continuous use. Stock hydraulic set up isn't designed for extended running time

Really happy to find your post as I am in the process of researching the Kubota RTV900xt Utility Vehicle specifically for utilizing the additional Hydaulic Valves. Have you used both chain saws and are you happy with their performance? Any helpful information you can give me regarding this vehicle and the additional Hydraulic Port? I am planning on using these valves to one cut wood and the other a wood splitter.
