Belzoni, Mississippi | I know when its a 100 degrees outside an air conditioner is not gonna cool good but i feel like mine should be cooling better. Back before i cut wheat, i took the condesor out and cleaned it good. I blew the evaporator core out good today but it didnt help at all. It has plenty of freon but it is not cooling at all. I turned the heater valve of because i thought it might be leaking water to the condesor. Funny thing is that its dripping water like its freezing cold. Could the condesor be stopped up again? I have been cutting for a few days. I have had the machine for three years and its has really never cooled. |

Callao Missouri | Do you have air flow out of the vent's? If not maybe you have a ducting unhooked under the cab. Double check the header valves on the engine and double check the condensor by the radiator, and evaporator under the seat. Jon |

Downtown Shell Knob MO Come Visit! | When I was a kid we always had a 1086 that would never cool very well, And the fan blew out of the vents but it didn't seem to have the greatest airflow in the world. Turns out my dad had put the squirl cages on backwards when he replaced the heater/ac fan. After 5 years of trying to make it cool better, I realized this and after changing them around. it blew air out the vents like a windstorm and cooled like it was brand new.
Have you had any guauges hooked to the AC. Are you completly sure that there is good air flowing through the condesor. I know on some older combines and trucks ive worked on, an electric fan pushing or pulling air through the condensor makes all the difference when its hot. |

Huntley Montana | Are you running the fan on high ALL the time? It could be the evaperator is freezing up with condsation (sp) & your loosing the air flow through it.. |

|
| make sure intake vent behind seat isn't blocked and the vents at feet need to be wide open or it will freeze up |

Monticello Ar | How fast does it build head pressure. If it builds head pressure quickly it could be an expansion valve. Ac is just a check list. Low pressure around 30 high pressure 250 to 300 condenser and evaporator clean with plenty of air flow fan working duct work in tact. Then let run and watch high pressure if building quickly like within 5 seconds exPansion valve is stopped up. Just remember if compressor is kicking in and out quickly and repeatedly it's not gonna cool. |
